Seats

It's much easier to get through narrow doors on public transport, and to climb over and up kerbs. It also has a handbrake on the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.

The seats feature multi-position reclining and UPF 50+ sunshades while the canopy can be adjusted to keep the sun out of your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can be converted into triple by adding UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack" board, which is designed for older children.

The iCandy Orange is one of the most popular double buggies on the market because of its exceptional comfort. It's a true all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension that makes smooth work of bumpy surfaces. It can accommodate up to 30 seating configurations and comes with a built-in ride-on board for older children who prefer to walk, and a 'cinema seating' mode which raises the back seat to improve visibility.

The phil&teds dot is a great single buggy that is available from day one that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3 wheel double stroller!) in various configurations. Suspension

The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children can push it. A smooth ride is crucial because babies feel every bump on the road, especially if it's on rough terrain like grass or unpaved paths. Some models also come with locking front wheels to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles such as curbs.

Some models come with air-filled tyres that provide a fantastic all-terrain experience, but they can be prone to punctures, therefore, make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Some models have foam or gel-filled tyres that are designed to cushion bumps. They are less likely to puncture, however they may be uncomfortable for your child if they decide to run.

A three-wheeled double buggy can be folded neatly for storage. In general the more wheels a buggy comes with the more able it will be to maneuver on rough terrain. This is particularly true when the wheels are larger than average - this will provide you with more stability and make it less likely that your children are likely to tip over or fall over.

This allows you to get the best of all worlds.
