WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases Item level upgrade level by 3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees higher trade value, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as valuable for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item upgrader kit that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item upgrades owners in a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor with a button, which displays an image of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the item upgrader mod slot, and the current level of the item. For instance weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain degree and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Crests

Players have several options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. For example, once an item reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade item their gear to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests only have one usage and it's crucial to use them properly. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the Best item upgrade gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially relevant for rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character which can only be eligible to benefit from the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are filled with high-quality gear.
