Volvo owners appreciate their key fob's handy remote features. They can lock and unlock their vehicle, start the motor, and even locate it with an app on their smartphone.

Place the fob's front up on an uncluttered surface. Locate the button that releases it, place an object between the cover and the fob, and pull up carefully.

Unlocking the Doors

You can unlock all doors and the rear gate by pressing the unlock button on the fob's key twice. By pressing the lock button for two seconds, you will be able to close the sunroof and windows when they're fitted. Reconnect the battery and the alarm should stop.
