Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has cancelled its planned acquisition of Roomba maker irobot roomba self emptying and said the deal faces "undue and unjustified regulatory obstacles." The company will pay iRobot the $94 million breakup fee.

The acquisition was found to be anti-competitive according to the European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and the highest antitrust enforcement agency).
