The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a tight budget and do not need a stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It comes with a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when you're navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate lightweight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller. It transforms from a stroller to wagon by simply flipping the handle, meaning parents can pick the mode they prefer for their journey. The wagon is able to accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to five years old. It comes with a large storage basket that can accommodate everything you need when you are on the move.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that turn from the front to the back, offering ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as large or deep as some wagons, so it may not be ideal for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy however, it isn't able to bend as much as some other wagons that we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly once folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage, and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a standard manual. None of the parts required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential in a double stroller. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

The Zelia is the newest version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate baby from birth up to around 3.5 years old, easily changing between a seat and a carrycot by just a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base and a reversible carriage.

The seat reclines with one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Although it is a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps well and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position and can also pivot. This is useful in rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate while walking along an uneven path. It handled the situation well, though it did seem slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain pushchairs for jogging, but they also make a good range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is simple to fold and fits easily in the boot of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It weighs more than other strollers that we tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains, and even with two kids with shopping bags and other things.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that can be removed to reveal UV50and sun canopy extension. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be connected with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a single stroller sale that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of a lot of parents when it first appeared. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's initial days and beyond. The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro, and can cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face each other or can be turned around to face their parents, potentially reducing sibling fights over who should sit with mom and dad. It comes with a large bottle holder, gear tray as well as snack trays and a change mat. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.
